What role will Project play for the Shadow?

Jedi Shadow has some different talents that increase the effectiveness of Project. What role does Project play for a shadow? Is it part of the dps rotation? Is it a puller? And more generally, how much is a Shadow a lightsaber fighter, and how much are they balanced between lightsaber and force abilities?

The jedi shadow is much more balanced between saber and force abilities than a jedi knight would be. Project, for example, is an important part of the dps rotation. For shadow tanks, it becomes a high-threat ability after you get a certain talent, making it a pretty good ability for pulling aggro from a group member. They do use their lightsabers quite a lot, though, so don't worry too much.
