We may not be complete, but we wanted to start gathering feedback and let you start playing with our SWTOR Skill Tree Calculators! We've got a lot of inactive features still undergoing testing, but for now you'll find almost all of the traditional features you've come to know and love, including a few you've never seen.

A disclaimer: The data we've got live right now is approximately 1 build behind the current beta build. We are busy doing a lot of grunt work right now and once complete we will start updating the calculator with talents from the current build. There are inaccuracies, which our community team will start fixing as we move forward.

What features are available?

The features that currently are active are as follows:

• CREATE GUIDE - We announced guides as a new post type on R2-Db.com earlier in the week, the Skill Tree Calculator will be heavily tied into these. Currently, the integration for guides is undergoing testing and we hope to show you how to do it soon.
• COPY LINK - This button will allow you to get the link to the current build you've created and share it with others! Simply give a user the link and when they visit the site, it will show them the specific build you built.
• RESET - Resets all of the points you've spend allowing you to start fresh.

Where do I find the calculators?

We've added a new button to the top navigation for all users, labeled tools. In the tools menu you will find a quick link to the Skill Tree Calculators. You can also find different area's on the site that will display relevant calculators, such as:

• Skill Tree List - A highly unpolished but somewhat useful page that lists all skill tree's individually, not grouped by advanced class.
• Which if you click on a tree from, will bring you to the Skill Tree Detail Page, which is a page specifically built for an individual tree. We have big plans for this page, but currently it is just the layout of the tree and every skill it contains.
• If you view an Advanced Class page, you will see a button for 'Skill Trees' in the navigation. Clicking on one brings you to a page that displays a list of all the individual tree's, as well as a button for the calculator. Here's an example, the Scounrel's Skill Tree Information. We have plans to revamp this page a lot as well.

So, you did say features I've never seen, right?

We're up to some crazy things on this site as many of you know, we're not trying to regurgitate old concepts and ideas, we're trying to innovate and create new methods to use information and share ideas. This is one of them, which we believe is probably the a world first in terms of Skill Calculators. We've never seen it anywhere before, and are proud to call it our own.

EMBEDDABLE BUILDS!

NOTE: This feature is still under development, and you can consider what you see below to be a TECH DEMO.

It's an embedded, interactive skill tree that you can post in your questions, answers, guides and other posts. We're also going to enable it so you can embed these on YOUR site, very soon. Imagine embedding a Bounty Hunter build in your latest blog post and then explaining why it rocks, helping your readers visualize the build without leaving your site. It will be part of our powered script which is completely free and will provide tooltips and skill trees for your site.

There's a few bugs you'll notice immediately, the most obvious being the tooltips. We are in the middle of a huge revamp of our tooltips right now. We actually had planned on publishing the tooltip revamp yesterday, until the NDA dropped, and priorities shifted. Something to look forward to sometime this upcoming week!
