Hello,
I'm used to played healing classes in MMO and I'd like some advise on which is the 'best' healing classes in SWTOR.
During the beta, I had the opportunity to try inquisitor with specialization sorcerer and advanced classe 'Corruption' (healing branches). Unfortunately I had to stop arountd lvl 14 which did not provide me with a good idea of the healing aspect (as the first healing skill is obtained at lvl 10).
Is there someone who got the opportunity to go further in this advanced classe ? How was it ?
Is there any other healing/assist classes on Empire's side ?
Thanks in advance for your advice !
Which one is better? Probably they will end up being well balanced, so the best will be the one you like the most.

I don't think so, people want to know this so they can role a healer for specific purposes, not so they can play and heal.

"I don't believe the 3 classes are there for "picking" the best healing class or the one that has better healing output skills."
The best healing class is the Sage and Sorcerer, but they are also the most squishy and most boring (think of WOW's Priest with shields and fast heals). Scoundrel and Operative has weakest healing, fairly squishy, but most fun to play (because of how weak their healing is I quit mine) (think of WOW's Druid with stealth and HoTs). Commando and Mercenary are the defensive healers so they have high armor rating and strong direct heals that can built up by smaller heals(think of WOW's Paladin with Word of Glory and Holy Shock).
"It's all about what you want to play, for example ranged class but with the ability to heal,so imperial agent for example. Or healer but melee , sith inquisitor or jedi consular and so on."
Operatives (Imperial Agents) are not a melee class, although they do have a few weak ranged attacks, they are not their main damage output. Sorcerers (Sith Inquisitor) are a ranged mage/priest like class.
"I believe the classes will be balanced and you can pick whatever you prefer playing according to your gamestyle."
Healing classes are not balanced. 1) Which is the better at healing: Sage/Sorcerer > Commando/Mercenary > Scoundrel/Operative. 2) Which has the best defensive capabilities: Commando/Mercenary > Scoundrel/Operative > Sage/Sorcerer. 3) Which has the most simplified concept to play: Sage/Sorcer > Scoundrel/Operative > Commando/Mercenary. 4) Which has the most popularity: Sage/Sorcerer > Commando/Mercenary > Scoundrel/Operative. In short, Scoundrel/Operative are least played because they are in need of a strong healing buff. Sage/Sorcerer are the easiest to play and therefore are extremely popular. Commando/Mercenary are well balanced in most situations, and the only thing they don't have is some sort of movement bonus (Sage/Sorcerer has Force Speed and Scoundrel/Operative has Cloak).
