Is there an Adv Class/Spec that deals with Dots and Drains?

Wondering if an advance class has the following capabilities (On the Republic side):

  • DoTs (Damage Over Time)
  • Drains (Able to remove health from an enemy and heal itself)

Looking at the spells it seems that there are a few classes with DoTs but it's hard to determine if there can be a viable spec from it. It's also hard to tell if a class has the ability to "drain".

Yes their certainly is, and that is /drumroll Sith Inquisitor!

The shared tree MADNESS is the Dotting and health draining class and spec.

Also They can certainly drain health, however it is against the NDA at this time to show you a talent tree, you may be able to find one and have a look at madness.

Dont forget you only get 2-4 spells from a spec, all the other spells are gained as u level.

Is Sage or Shadow Better for DoTs and is it the Balance Tree that helps out those abilities the most?

To my knowledge, and dont quote me. But i believe the Madness tree is Shared, however some talents are different inregards to being MELEE and CASTER.

So if i had to guess, i would say Equal, however Doting would be easier as a Ranged so i guess Sage

Oh and for anyone reading, notice how we mix up the 2 classes SI and JC. The 2 classes are of opposite faction, however are IDENTICAL IN EVERY WAY.
