Smaller Skill trees

I Went Jedi Sentinel and when I opened the skill tree i nearly fell off my chair. Is there really a need for all those skills? I've no idea what to choose :S

what kind of a question is that?! how do you expect me to answer it? Yes?

Just go with the type you want to play, pick 1 tree and go from bottom and up to the top. Simple!

Experiment until you find one that fits your play style. Who knows, eventually you may get in to min-maxing.

The Jedi sentinel skill trees are meant for either burst damage or having your damage output increase as the fight goes on. Check out : http://www.swtor.com/info/systems/advanced-classes For specifics on which tree does which.

All those skill are necessary because as you level up they will be very helpful. Any less and it would be too easy to dual spec, and the devs don't like that.
