Remember that these aren't a place for opinions, they're for questions with a definite answer :) But since you asked, I think that they're just the kind of creativity this game needs. It doesn't break from lore TOO badly, and other variations, like blue-on-black, look incredible. I can't wait to see what green-on-black looks like!

I don't like black + yellow, but black + purple is my favorite combination. I hope Bioware includes this color into the game :)

It's good, and there are two available, one for preorder, and one for getting the Razer keyboard. The Razer one funnily enough is green. Don't know the stats on it yet, but we will find out soon.

Also as a side note, keep an eye out for vendors (I know of one on the Empire Fleet station) where you can for 400 credits buy another crystal (no limit, that's per crystal) so you can have your companion's upgradeable weapons alos using it, and gaining the +4 Endurance as well. For dual wielding light sabers at lower levels it's great, as two of them gives you a +8 Endurance.

It's unique, which is the whole point. I used it in the beta and it grew on me. I do think it looks better for blaster bolts.

I was a bit dissapointed when I saw it was black core with yellow glow tbh, I'd of hoped for something a little different in terms of clow affect like maybe the underwater saber effects that Kit Fisto uses in the clone wars or possibly a spiral glow, something different from the norm i guess. With playing jedi outcast and academy back in the day there are definatly alot of different customisations with the sabers blade, possible in the future bioware may adopt some of them.
